Xomba is a pay-per-click website. Unlike sites like Triond and Bukisa, Xomba does not pay for impressions but only for ad clicks. Despite the lack of impression income, you can still make fairly good money. It is rumoured that one writer makes $80 to $120 dollars a day from Xomba alone by writing short articles about the latest celebrity gossip.
Submitting to Xomba
Xomba accepts two types of articles called Xombytes, and Xomblurbs. Xombytes are full length articles of any subject, fiction, non-fiction or poetry. They must be at least 150 words in length. Xomblurbs are articles associated with a link to another web page. These must be a minimum of 50 words. To make money with Xomba, you will need an Google Adsense account. Xomba requires your pub ID to send funds to you. If you do not give them your pub ID, you can still publish articles, but Xomba will keep all of the ad revenue and you will make nothing.
Cool Xomba Features
Xomba has a lot of great features that can help you make money:
-
Xomba doesn’t have editors. With this comes great freedom and, if you really want to make money, a greater responsibility to self-edit your work.
-
Xomblurbs are a great way to pound out articles, as they only require 50 words each.
-
Xomba gets a lot of traffic. They also have a decent interface that shows how many views each article has received, both daily and over its lifetime. This will tell you what subjects work best for you.
This is Nick, owner of Xomba, thanks for writing this review.
“It is rumoured that one writer makes $80 to $120 dollars a day”
Yes, I can confirm this. There is at least 1 writer who makes this. However, that is not the norm. It is very possible to make $100 a month with some work and practice. Set your first goal to make a dollar a day and work up to $100.
Please let us know if you need any help using Xomba.

I simply adore Xomba! One of my colleagues is the site’s first featured Historian. Her article “The First Married Gay Bishops” (http://www.xomba.com/first_married_gay_bishops) was featured on Xomba’s front page last week and “A Black African Slave Child in the Seventeenth Century” about a child ignored by other Historians, (http://www.xomba.com/black_african_slave_child_seventeenth_century) was on Xomba’s Home Page the week before that. Xomba encourages debate and is a place for highly original writers – some of whom make $3000 a month! It even allows my articles about Comedy Problems and Uranus Astrology – it’s given me some excellent coverage and assisted my fans throughout the world – and perhaps beyond! That’s how cool Xomba is.
